NBA legend, Chris Paul, has picked Portugal captain, Cristiano Ronaldo as the better player over Argentina captain, Lionel Messi.
Both Ronaldo and Messi played at the 2026 FIFA World Cup tournament, which was won by Soain.
Ronaldo led Portugal to the Round of 16 as they crashed out after losing to Spain.
Messi, on the other hand, led Argentina to the final, as they lost to champions Spain.
When asked to pick a better player between Messi and Ronaldo, Paul said, as per HITC, “That is tough because Messi man, I’d probably have to say, Ronaldo.
“Man, I ain’t as dialled in, I have an appreciation for both, when I see Messi play, some of the goals, the passion, but that is (Ronaldo) more so, who I followed.”
Ronaldo and Messi won 13 Ballon d’Or awards between themselves.
