A former member of the House of Representatives, Babatunde Oduyoye has resigned from the Oyo State Advisory Council.
Oduyoye, who represented Ibadan North West and South West on the platform of the defunct Alliance for Democracy made disclosed his decision in a statement, on Monday.
DAILY POST reports that Makinde established the council to advise him on issues relating to development in the state.
But, Oduyoye in the letter addressed to Makinde through the Chairman of the council Chief Bolaji Ayorinde said that he resigned over personal convictions.
“I write to intimate Your Excellency of my decision to resign my membership of the Oyo State Advisory Council forthwith.”
