2027: Act fast, Umahi hates Niger Delta – APC’s Ayiri Emami to Tinubu

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Ayiri Emami, has described the Minister of Works, Dave Umahi as a disaster to the South South.

Emami, who urged President Bola Tinubu to remove Umahi before the 2027 general elections, said the minister is a discouragement to the people of the South south.

In a video on social media, the APC chieftain lamented the state of federal highways in the Niger Delta region.

He called for speedy attention to the deplorable roads ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Emami said: “When you place the right people in the right position they will know what to do especially somebody who comes from where there are issues.

“The only problem that I have is Umahi, I don’t know where my father (Tinubu) brought him from.

“Umahi is like somebody that hates us in the South South, I’m not a lifestyle politician, I love to travel by road; from Warri to Lagos I usually stop at Ofosu.

“All the Urhobos people selling Banga soup there, they all know my name, I will check my filling station and buy fuel before getting to Lagos.

“Almost every week and I travel to Oshiomhole’s retreat centre in the forest where I can properly meditate and reason well, now I can’t.

“All the cars I recently purchased will start developing issues due to lack of proper usage and who is the course, it’s Umahi.

“Tinubu should act fast about Umahi before the election, Umahi is now a disaster in the South south, I say it as it is.

“Umahi is trying to discourage people, if he’s no longer interested in his work, he should leave and Tinubu should add it to Wike’s ministry.

“The Ministry of Works should be added to the Federal Capital Territory so that the two can be under Wike.”
