Former England internationals Ian Wright and Gary Neville have predicted that The Three lions will beat Argentina in the semi-final of the 2026 World Cup.
England needed extra time to eliminate Norway with a 2-1 scoreline in the quarter-finals.
Thomas Tuchel’s men are looking to win the trophy for the first time in 60 years.
Wright and Neville have explained why England would at least make it to the final of the tournament.
“I think we will beat Argentina,” Wright said.
“The way they play and how narrow they are. I think we are going to block them and break them.”
Neville added: “With the centre backs they have, I can’t see us not scoring at least two goals. We’re faster, quicker, we’ve got a better squad.”
