Former Manchester United defender, Gary Neville, has expressed shock after Spain beat France 2-0 in the semi-final of the 2026 World Cup.
Les Bleus came into the game as favourites, but will now settle for the third-place play-off.
Mikel Oyazarbal’s penalty and Pedro Porro’s composed finish saw La Roja qualify for the final, where they will face Argentina or England.
Neville said on ITV: “I think we are in bit of shock. We all had France and they have been blown away.
“An absolutely incredible performance from Spain.
“The differential between the two teams could be told through the two full-backs. Cucurella and Porro were outstanding against the French wide players. But Digne really struggled.”
