Dave Allen will be desperate to pick up the biggest win of his career this evening, but faces a tough test in the shape of Filip Hrgovic.

The Doncaster native comes into the mouthwatering heavyweight showdown off the back of a first round stoppage victory over Karim Berredjem earlier this year. Allen has enjoyed a bit of a resurgence in recent times, which was briefly halted after suffering a controversial defeat to Johnny Fisher back in December 2024.

However, the 34-year-old would end up getting his revenge just months later after knocking out the Brit. Prior to his win over Berredjem, Allen was beaten rather convincingly on points by Arslanbek Makhmudov. But tonight’s clash will arguably be his toughest test yet. Hrgovic has only lost once in his career so far – a TKO loss to Daniel Dubois two years ago – but has since followed it up with back-to-back wins over Joe Joyce and David Adeleye. And so, here is everything you need to know ahead of tonight’s fights…

Tonight’s action will take place at the Eco-Power Stadium in Doncaster, UK. The prelims are due to get underway at around 4pm UK time (11am ET / 8am PT / 10am CT). The main card will begin at 7pm UK time (2pm ET / 11am PT / 1pm CT). In the main event, Hrgovic will make the walk to the ring first at around 10pm UK time (2pm PT / 4pm CT / 5pm ET), with Allen set to follow shortly after. The two stars will then touch gloves soon after before the first bell sounds. The fight should not start later than this but could be brought forward if the undercard fights are completed earlier than expected.

Tonight’s fights will be shown live and exclusively on DAZN and will be FREE for existing customers. The fights can be screened on your TV, laptop or mobile device. To sign up for DAZN, click the link below.
