Polling reveals a record high in anger among Britishwomen, with over a fifth reporting feelings of rage from the previous day, an increase from 15 per cent last year.
The UK’s women’s health score has fallen to its lowest since 2020, dropping from 63 to 58 out of 100 and placing the country 48th globally in the Hologic Global Women’s Health Index.
The data indicates worsening physical and emotional health, with 29 per cent of British women reporting health issues affecting daily activities and 32 per cent experiencing physical pain.
A significant majority of British women, over two-thirds, have faced delays in accessing NHS care over the past five years, leading nearly half to lose trust in the healthcare system.
Experts are calling for a renewed focus and commitment to women’s health in the UK, with 41 per cent of women prioritising faster and more reliable diagnosis and treatment.
