Arsenal’s title celebrations have barely finished but they have plenty of work left to do in the coming weeks. There’s the small matter of the Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain but the Gunners may well look to get some transfer business done early.

The league winners confirmed a permanent exit for Jakub Kiwior in early May and now another transfer has been made official. With the World Cup beginning on June 11, they’ll need to be quick if they want to wrap up more deals before players link up with their national teams.

Mikel Arteta and his players will surely be in celebratory mood this weekend when they travel to Selhurst Park to face Crystal Palace. Manchester City’s midweek draw at Bournemouth ensured the 2023/24 champions can’t catch Arteta’s side in the race for top spot.

Before that, though, we’ve got some transfer news for you. Here are the latest lines from north London including a potential addition and a confirmed exit.

Sky has upgraded its Ultimate TV and Sky Sports bundle to now include HBO Max, Netflix, Disney+, discovery+ and Hayu, as well as 135 channels and full Sky coverage of the Premier League and EFL.

Sky broadcasts more than 1,400 live matches across the Premier League, EFL and more with at least 215 live from the top flight alongside Formula 1, darts and golf.

Hein leaves Arsenal after playing just once for the first team, in a 3-1 League Cup defeat to Brighton in 2022. However, he has been on the bench for multiple Premier League and Champions League outings, including both legs of the quarter-final defeat to Bayern Munich in April 2024.

Club Brugge star Christos Tzolis was asked about potentially joining Arsenal or their Premier League rivals Manchester United or Manchester City this summer. However, the Greek international told DAZN his club would be the ones to decide whether he stays or goes.

“I don’t know. It depends on Club Brugge. It’s not up to me to decide,” the 24-year-old said. “We’ll see what the best option is for me. It’s not just about the name. We also have to ask ourselves what the best project is.

“Why not stay at Club Brugge? I have a contract until 2029. I’m a professional. I have to respect my team. The team that pays me. I’m here to celebrate. Then we’ll see about my future. It’s still early. Today, I have to celebrate. I have a vacation.”

Tzolis, who has 21 goals in all competitions this season, previously spent time in the Premier League with Norwich City. Reports in Belgium suggest Club Brugge are chasing a club record £31m fee, a little more than Brentford paid them for Igor Thiago in 2024.
