At least 13 countries have qualified to play in the Round of 16 at the 2026 World Cup.

Switzerland became the latest country to book its spot after beating Algeria in the Round of 32 encounter today.

Two goals from Dan Ndoye and Breel Embolo gave Switzerland a 2-0 win against the North Africans.

Switzerland will now face Colombia or Ghana in the last 16 stage in the coming days.

The other countries in the Round of 16 stage include Belgium, France, Brazil, Norway, Morocco, Paraguay, Canada, Mexico, England, Portugal, Spain and the USA.
