- A yellow heat health alert has been issued across the south of England and parts of the Midlands due to anticipated hot weather.
- The warning, issued by the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA), is in effect from midday on Saturday 4 July until 5pm on Wednesday 8 July.
- Areas covered by the alert include the East Midlands, South East, South West, east of England and London.

- This alert follows the UK recording its hottest June temperature last month, indicating a trend of rising temperatures.
