- An England fan, Jack Goodwin, 34, spent his £40,000 house deposit on a trip to the World Cup 2026 with his father.
- He has pre-booked hotels, flights, and tickets for every potential England game, including the final in New Jersey on 19 July.
- Goodwin acknowledged the trip was “very expensive” but felt extremely lucky to be able to go.
- He described the opportunity to follow England’s World Cup campaign as a “once in a lifetime opportunity”.
