Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, says the North will give President Bola Tinubu more votes in 2027 than they gave him in 2023 because the president has done more than any leader for northern Nigeria.
Sani made this statement on Tuesday during an interview on Arise Television’s ‘Prime Time’.
According to him, the North will not vote based on religion, ethnicity, or tribe.
He described as ‘laziest argument’ when people say the election will be the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC versus the Nigerian people.
Governor Sani further explained that in terms of development, Tinubu has done more than any leader for northern Nigeria, noting that he was speaking based on data and statistics.
He added that it is a figment of imagination when people say the North will not vote for Tinubu.
“I can tell you categorically, as the governor of Kaduna State that Tinubu will get more votes in 2027 than he got in 2023. The North will massively vote for him,” he said.
