Trump’s Great American State Fair goes viral again as band outnumbers crowd
Great American State Fair kicks off on the National Mall
Donald Trump’s Great American State Fair in Washington is drawing criticism for seemingly low attendance, with one musical performance reportedly having more band members than audience members.
A video shared by a reporter showed a youth band playing to only a handful of spectators, leading to online mockery and comments about the event’s poor turnout.
Critics, including Democratic Representative Sean Casten, have suggested the fair is drawing fewer people than typically seen on the National Mall.
Despite visual evidence of empty spaces, organizers of Freedom 250 claim over 150,000 people attended in the first three days, and Trump stated the fair was “packed with happy people.”
Fox News reporters have also asserted that numerous people are attending the event, suggesting that pictures do not tell the full story.
