Tom Hardy is reportedly returning for the third season of Paramount+‘s crime drama “MobLand” despite previous behind-the-scenes drama, Deadline reported Tuesday.
Reports had indicated tension between Hardy and showrunner Jez Butterworth, alongside allegations of Hardy being chronically late and complaining about storylines during season two.
Hardy and Butterworth reportedly resolved their issues during a recent meeting in London, coming to an understanding about the show’s future.
Co-star Helen Mirren has publicly supported Hardy, praising his acting and stating she would work with him again in a heartbeat.
While “MobLand” has not been officially renewed for a third season, a writers’ room for future episodes has already opened.
