Ekiti Queens FC have appointed Sabo Okala as their new head coach ahead of the 2026-27 Nigeria Women Football League, NWFL, season.

Okala replaced Jacob Vandi who is set to join Nigeria National League, NNL, side Ekiti United.

Vandi guided Ekiti Queens to a mid-table finish in the 2025-26 NWFL season.

Okala has been tasked to help the club secure a place in NWFL Super Six play offs next season.

Edo Queens were crowned the 2025-26 NWFL champions.
