A single mum from Essex was given a much-needed lift by a wealthy couple.

Julie previously appeared on Channel 5’s popular programme Rich House, Poor House alongside her two grown-up daughters.

The family live a modest semi-detached property in Halstead, and with space so cramped that one of her daughters, Chloe, doesn’t have her own bedroom and is compelled to sleep on the sofa in the lounge.

Life hasn’t always been difficult, as Julie previously operated a thriving doggy daycare business, but it was immediately forced to close during the pandemic.

Julie now works at a care home and finances are extremely stretched, but that doesn’t prevent her from helping others, as she has a genuine desire to support people, reports Essex Live.

She has ambitions of launching a business once more, but with a weekly budget of merely £58 and growing debt, her long-held dream has been shelved as she battles to stay afloat financially.

Getting a taste of how the wealthiest one per cent exist, Julie and her daughters exchanged homes with 36-year-old entrepreneur Jazz and his partner Catia, who reside in a 5-bedroom property in Romford. The couple’s impressive home features a stunning garden and even a steam room.

Jazz previously operated a £3million football enterprise with 150 employees, but in 2020 he sold it to launch a consultancy. He now educates others on how to increase their earnings.

Yet his current lifestyle is worlds apart from his cramped West London terrace, where he was raised. While Jazz and Catia had to manage on a weekly budget of just £59, Julie and her children were given the opportunity to sample life at the other end of the spectrum with £1,200 to spend.

When Julie was eventually reunited with Jazz and Catia, the single mother became visibly moved as they revealed their plans to back the launch of her business venture and even purchased a bed for her daughter.

Jazz is aware of Julie’s ambition to run a pub, so he’s devised a plan to help kickstart her career in the hospitality sector while making use of her existing talents.

Julie could hire out space and organise activities, creating a hub for elderly people where she could also serve straightforward meals.

To set things in motion, Jazz and Catia declared they wanted to provide Julie with whatever assistance she required.

Catia asked: “So how would you feel if we helped you out at the first event together?” Julie was speechless as she broke down in tears.

Jazz continued: “I’d love to just pave out that road map for you and go through that journey with you and help you to set up that first event.. The surprise didn’t stop there as they bought Chloe a bed and turned the conservatory into a living space for the family. Julie was grateful as she added: “.

The generosity didn’t end there, as they bought Chloe a bed and transformed the conservatory into proper living accommodation for the family. Julie was overwhelmed, saying: “It’s so kind of you to do that for me when you don’t even know me.”
