New England Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel and NFL reporter Dianna Russini were caught on video during their controversial boat trip together in June 2021.

TMZ Sports posted the clip on Thursday, May 7, which allegedly shows Vrabel, 50, and Russini, 43, on the dock of a private boat rental company in Putnam County, Tennessee.

The pair can be seen chatting briefly before boarding the vessel. (Russini was pregnant at the time of their excursion and expecting her first child with husband Kevin Goldschmidt.)

TMZ broke the news of Russini and Vrabel’s excursion on Wednesday, May 6, reporting that they rented the boat together and were the only two people onboard during the two-to-three hour ride.

Staff members at the boating company were reportedly told not to share any pictures from the day because “Coach Vrabel wanted to enjoy a private weekend.” At the time of the trip, Vrabel was the head coach of the Tennessee Titans.

TMZ also published a photo of Vrabel posing with a group of employees from the day of the trip.

Russini gave birth to her first child with Goldschmidt, in August 2021. The couple welcomed their second child together in October 2022.

Vrabel has been married to his wife, Jen, since 1999 and the couple share two sons.

Us Weekly has reached out to Vrabel and Russini for comment.

The relationship between Vrabel and Russini has been a hot topic since last month, when Page Six published photos of the pair together at a luxury resort in Arizona

Since then, more pictures of the two have been posted by multiple outlets, including Page Six sharing photos of Vrabel and Russini seemingly kissing at a New York City bar in March 2020.

While both Vrabel and Russini initially denied there was anything romantic happening between them, Vrabel announced his plans to attend counseling on April 22.

“I promised my family, this organization and this team that I was going to give them the best version of me that I can possibly give them. In order to do so, I have committed to seeking counseling, starting this weekend,” he said in a statement to ESPN on April 22. “This is something that I have given a lot of thought to and is something I would advise a player to do if I was counseling them.”

Vrabel continued, “I have always wanted to lead by example, and I believe this is what I have to do to be the best husband, father and coach that I possibly can be. This is not an easy thing for me to admit, but it is one that I know will make me a better person. I appreciate the support that everyone has given me and promise a stronger resolve as a result.”

In the wake of the scandal, Russini announced her resignation as senior NFL insider at The Athletic on April 14, though stopped short of admitting any wrongdoing.

“I have covered the NFL with professionalism and dedication throughout my career, and I stand behind every story I have ever published,” Russini said in a written statement shared via social media. “When the Page Six item first appeared, The Athletic supported me unequivocally, expressed confidence in my work and pride in my journalism. For that I am grateful. In the days that followed, unfortunately, commentators in various media have engaged in self-feeding speculation that is simply unmoored from the facts.”

She added, “Moreover, this media frenzy is hurtling forward without regard for the review process The Athletic is trying to complete. It continues to escalate, fueled by repeated leaks, and I have no interest in submitting to a public inquiry that has already caused far more damage than I am willing to accept.”
