With summer in our midst, many of us will be looking for a new seasonal fragrance to embrace a warmer, more tropical climate. And while these sorts of treats are typically quite pricey, The Perfume Shop – like many retailers – has launched a number of reductions. Lucky for fans of the hit regency-drama Bridgerton, the Perfume Shop’s beloved ‘Dearest’ range, which was inspired by the hit Netflix show, Bridgerton, is now on sale with 30% off.

Consisting of three perfumes – the Dearest Rebel Vanilla, Dearest Tempting Peach and Dearest Graceful Hydrangea, each eau de parfum has been reduced in price from £42 to £29.99 – but for a limited time only, as this deal ends on 22 July 2026. This particular range was launched in the wake of the latest series, in which long-standing bachelor Benedict Bridgerton finally finds his match – spoiler alert.

Mirroring the grace, elegance and refinement of high society as seen in the show, the bottles‘ designs are beautiful and, as the brand says, ‘is a love letter to refinement’. It explains: “A noble crest reflects the heritage of high society, while a subtle flourish nods to masquerade and mischief.”

Each perfume’s packaging also features a different emblem as a nod to show and its series’ main themes; Dearest Graceful Hydrangea features a mask (its latest series), Dearest Tempting Peach a feather (series three) and Dearest Rebel Vanilla a diamond (series 1). To match its main olfactory note, too, the bottles come in three different colours: peach, a champagne yellow and light blue.

As for the fragrances, Dearest Rebel Vanilla has a warm, amber undertone with jasmine, rose and vanilla at the heart of its scent. Perfect for those who love sweet florals, the perfume has been praised by perfume fans for being ‘not overtly sweet’ but still ‘such a lovely vanilla floral fragrance’.

The Bridgerton Dearest Rebel Vanilla scent has 30% off, alongside its sister perfumes, Dearest Tempting Peach and Dearest Graceful Hydrangea.

One user remarked: “Wow wow wow! I am shook. This perfume smells amazing. The design is soo soo cutesy and makes my desk look soo soo put together. Love putting on a spray of this before leaving the house and I never fail to get compliments. Very long lasting and the smell definitely develops.”

Someone else added: “This perfume is absolutely phenomenal. I love a strong vanilla scent and this definitely fits in that box. It’s long lasting and a little spritz goes a long way. I am a new fan!”

Although many have shared how they love the strong vanilla scent, one review contradicted this and said: “This has been my go to perfume as of late. It doesn’t have that pure vanilla scent that I love, it’s more of like a musky type of vanilla which is a good change of scent for me. My husband says he can smell it on me all day but I don’t. I love perfumes that I can smell on myself all day.”

For those who’d rather a sweeter vanilla scent, the PHLUR Vanilla Skin Eau De Parfum, £99, ‘really lingers on the skin and has a nice vanilla scent whilst not being too sweet or overpowering.’

As for Dearest Tempting Peach, it’s certainly more fruity thanks to its notes of mandarin, mango and, of course, peach. The brand explains: “Mellow peach, ripe mango, and luscious mandarin intertwine in an irresistible pairing. A fruity tryst worthy of the most delicious scandals.”

Shoppers who have got their hands of this scent say it’s like ‘summer in a bottle’ and has a fragrance akin to ‘a peach ring gummy’ – ideal for those who love a sweet spritz. With a 4.5 star rating and 89% recommendation rate, the perfume has been a hit, with one review reading: “I love this fragrance, the sweet peach smell is perfect without being too overpowering. It’s the scent that fits perfectly with spring. The bottle is gorgeous and give very Bridgerton vibes. The petite size is perfect to put in your bag or take. It’s become my everyday scent.”

Another fan cited: “I just got this in the mail the other day, and I’m in LOVE! It smells like summer in a bottle, which is exactly what i was looking for! It dries down to a soft peachy scent, almost like a peach ring gummy. The spritzer is nice,” although they added one criticism: “I wish it was a bit softer since it’s kinda harsh, and I also wish it lasted a bit longer, but otherwise it’s perfect!”

For a similar fruity aroma but with a more berry leaning, the Kayali Eden Juicy Apple 01 Eau De Parfum is a lovely alternative, £80. It has top notes of Juicy Red Apple, exotic Lychee, sparkling Pink Grapefruit and tart Blackcurrant, while mid notes range from sweet Wild Berries, Raspberry Blossoms and Jasmine to creamy Vanilla Flower, sultry Amber and Musk.

Boasting a more floral, woody undertones, the last, but certainly not least, perfume is Dearest Graceful Hydrangea. As The Perfume Shop states, this fragrance is “an innocent blooming debutante at first glance, until an enticing blackcurrant and cedarwood awaken a hidden depth.” While floral is the main note – which shoppers adore – the perfume has a refined woody-citrus dry down that neatly compliments its light, hydrangea scent.

Although some users have shared how it’s a bit too ‘powdery’ for them, or that the ‘woody’ scent is a bit too strong, others found it ‘so elegant, floral, perfect for everyday wear and not overpowering.’ One five star fan commented: “Hydrangea is one of my favorite flowers and this smells exactly like walking through a garden of it! The notes of cedarwood combined create a beautiful scent.”

Another person echoed: “Such a lovely and elegant fragrant. Its open with bright and fresh citrus burst that instantly feel uplifting, then softly transitioning into sweet floral heart that feminine without being overwelming. The base is warm and subtly musky, giving it smoooth finish thay linger nicely without becoming too heavy.”
