Fighter Josh Hokit yells ‘Michelle Obama is a man’ after winning fight at the White House
Podcaster Joe Rogan stated that UFC fighter Josh Hokit should not have been invited to fight at the White House after Hokit made a derogatory comment about Michelle Obama.
During a UFC fight on the White House South Lawn on June 14, Hokit told Rogan, who was emceeing, “Michelle Obama is a man. Am I right, America?” after winning his bout.
Rogan explained on his podcast that Hokit has a “pro-wrestling bad guy” persona, but emphasized that such a comment was particularly inappropriate for a White House event.
Hokit later defended his remark, claiming he was complimenting Michelle Obama by suggesting she “knows how to deal with adversity” like a man.
UFC president Dana White, a friend of Donald Trump, condemned Hokit’s statement, expressing his opposition to “nasty and false things about people’s families.”
