Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, on Thursday said the African Democratic Congress, ADC, has admitted that President Bola Tinubu has done well in the area of road infrastructure.
Wike stressed that road network is the bedrock of development in any society across the world.
He made the remark while reacting to a statement by the ADC that Nigerians “won’t eat roads alone”.
The minister spoke during the commissioning of interchange at Arterial Road N16 – Ring Road III Intersection linking Jahi District to Gwarimpa District of the FCT.
President Bola Tinubu was represented at the commissioning of the project to mark his third year anniversary by the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio.
Wike said: “I got the news of the press release by the ADC to the Presidency that we are not going to eat roads alone. Beautiful, ADC has agreed that in terms of road infrastructures, Mr President has done very well.
“Let us start with the one that indeed Mr President has done very well.
“Let them also know that without road you can’t go to school, farm, and hospital. Road is the bedrock, engine of development in any part of this world.”
