There’s £50 off this Hoover vacuum cleaner right now, and it’s IndyBest-approved. “The Hoover vacuums are, in my experience, a particularly good choice for allergy sufferers and the 300 bagless is no exception,” said home appliances expert Jo Plumridge in her review of the best cylinder vacuum cleaners. This 25 per cent saving on Shark’s handheld pet vacuum isn’t Prime exclusive, so you can hoover it up regardless of whether you have a membership. When we reviewed Shark’s pet handheld vacuum, our tester recommended the classic CH950UK for small clean-ups, rather than the whole house or car cleaning. Nonetheless, it “sucked up all the dust in a room in minutes”, they praised, and picked up an “alarming amount of hair from [their] deep-pile carpets”, too.

With a saving of more than £100, this Dyson deal is a rare find. Cleaning aficionado Joanne Lewsley dubbed the V8 the best budget model in her guide to the best Dyson vacuums, describing it as a “reliable cordless offering.” “This updated version delivers stronger suction than previous V8 models, with up to 60 minutes of runtime and enough power for most everyday cleaning tasks,” she wrote. Topping our list of the best robot vacuum cleaners, the Eufy X10 Pro Omni is a truly hands-off device. It vacuums, mops, empties its own dustbin, refills its own water tank, avoids obstacles and even washes and dries its own mopping pads. Tech critic Steve Hogarty was impressed by its cleaning abilities. “The mopping function is excellent. Eufy is one of our favourite robot vacuum brands, with the X10 pro omni previously earning the top spot in round-up of the best robot vacuums. This model has slightly less suction power but still has most of the features we’ve come to expect of robot vacuums, including a self-emptying station and mop pads that automatically clean and dry themselves in the base.

This Amazon basics vacuum is a bargain at full price, so any discount is an added bonus. The cost has been dropped by 16 per cent for Prime Day, although its recent discount history suggests it could fall as low as £19.40 this week if you keep an eye on it. Our tester Zoe Griffin crowned it as the best budget buy in our corded vacuum round-up, finding it “provides a decent amount of power for the price”. It’s small, but this makes it a great fit for “those fiddly and annoying messes that happen daily when you have children or pets”.

“The E25 is the beefy powerhouse of the Eufy range,” wrote our reviewer, when it previously featured in our guide to the best robot vacuums. He added that the device is capable of cleaning a floor in just one pass and even makes light work of cat and dog hair. “In homes with pets or deep-pile carpets, the 20,000Pa suction makes a noticeable difference versus weaker robovacs,” he explained. “Thanks to a combination of high suction power, auto-detangling brushes and a corner arm that gets to hard-to-reach areas, pretty much all hair was swept up in the first clean.” Right now, it has an impressive 33 per cent discount.

It also has a useful handheld option, for cleaning carpets and sofas.A similar model, the Vax airlift pet plus2, was rated the best corded vacuum for upholstery by our reviewer, who noted its ability to quickly clean up after the whole family, saying: “With around triple the suction power of most cordless vacuum cleaners, it sucked up leftover croissants, biscuits and general child-related snack leftovers in no time.” With very similar features, we think this discount on the airlift pet is worth browsing if you’re in the market for a new vacuum cleaner.
