The moment a young Scotland fan wowed locals with his incredible dance moves on the streets of Miami has been captured on camera.
Lochlan McKenzie Bowie stunned passers-by when he transformed into Michael Jackson – in a Scotland strip – and moonwalked to ‘Smooth Criminal’ on Ocean Drive today with the flair and confidence of The King of Pop himself.
The 11-year-old from Irvine, Ayrshire flew to the US with his dad Iain to watch Steve Clarke’s men take on Carlo Ancelotti’s Brazil for their third World Cup opening match at the Hard Rock Stadium on Wednesday night.
The pair are hoping for a Scotland win – one which would catapult them to the next round of global tournament for the first time ever – from one of the fan zones set up across the city tonight.
But before they headed for the big screen, Lochlan attracted large groups of locals and visitors alike by grooving to a catalogue of Jackson tunes including ‘Bad’ alongside a fellow young Tartan Army member who later joined in.

In the clip, the performer breaks a sweat as he is cheered on by Scotland and Brazil fans, many of whom take videos on their phone or simply watch in awe as he busts out various moves, including the infamous moonwalk.
Commenting on his captivating dance style, Lochlan’s mum, Marianne, told the Record: “Lochlan has been singing and dancing since he was a baby, roughly two years old.
“Everyone is loving his dance moves in Miami. He seems to be pulling in the crowds and hyping them up. He’s been such a hit and had a few interviews over there.”
People from far and wide were just as impressed with the talent in the comment section. One wrote: “Wee Mick Jackson,” while another scribed: “Oan yersel, son”.

A third chimed in: “The best moonwalker in town,” while a fourth penned: “Brilliant, just adds to the atmosphere,” while a fifth said: “Living his best life”.
Scotland has a chance to send shockwaves around the world if they can beat Brazil. John McGinn and co stand on the brink of history despite their 1-0 reverse against Morocco in Boston.
And results in the other groups appear to be doing us a favour. Even a defeat won’t necessarily mean the end, with the eight best third-placed teams progressing to the round of 32.
Scotland must concentrate on what is in front of them first – and it will be a tall order against the Samba superstars. Tens of thousands of excited Scotland fans are currently in the sunshine state to watch the drama unfold.
