Victoria Beckham appeared to extend an olive branch to son Brooklyn as she included him in a heartfelt Father’s Day tribute to husband David Beckham.

The fashion designer shared a throwback family snap to Instagram showing David, 51, surrounded by all four of their children, Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper, despite the ongoing rift that has reportedly left the family divided.

Alongside the picture, Victoria wrote: “David you truly are the best daddy. Your greatest achievement has always been our beautiful children and we love you so much. Happy Father’s Day.”

The post comes during what is understood to be David’s second Father’s Day since relations with eldest son Brooklyn became strained.

Victoria’s tribute featured a happier family moment from a holiday, with Brooklyn pictured alongside his siblings despite reports he has become increasingly estranged from his parents.

The emotional message comes days after the eldest son of David and Victoria Beckham caused a stir when he made light of their explosive family drama in a World Cup themed commercial for American brand DoorDash.

The promotional clip shows 27-year-old Brooklyn relaxing at home while waiting for product to be delivered to him. Addressing the camera, he quips: “You’re probably wondering why I’m watching the FIFA World Cup 2026 from home. It’s not like I don’t have tickets.” He then added: “Um, it’s because … it’s a long story.”

Fans of the Beckham clan, and those following the scandal, were stunned to see Brooklyn addressing the drama in an advert for the on-demand food delivery service. He has partnered with the company to hide World Cup tickets around American cities that fans can then claim.

Being the son of a former World Cup player, Brooklyn would traditionally be able to land tickets to the sporting event for himself with ease, however his advert suggests he’s keen to avoid going to matches himself in order to avoid any awkward run ins with his family.

According to reports, Brooklyn is believed to have been paid a substantial fee for the campaign, reported to be at least $1 million (£753,000), but Page Six claim those close to David and Victoria were left upset by the perceived dig.

The latest development comes amid ongoing reports of tensions between Brooklyn and the Beckham family, although neither Brooklyn nor his parents have publicly addressed the speculation.

Earlier this year he took to social media to with a statement. He wrote: “I have been silent for years and made every effort to keep these matters private. Unfortunately my parents and their team have continued to go to the press, leaving me with no choice but to speak for myself and tell the truth about only some of the lies that have been printed.”

Insisting he did not want to reconcile with his family, he unleashed further, claiming: “For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family. The performative social media posts, family events and inauthentic relationships have been a fixture of the life I was born into.”

He went on to claim his parents had tried to turn him against his now wife ahead of their 2022 wedding – stating his family tried to force him to sign away the rights to his own name, and that Victoria had branded him “evil” for wanting his grandmother at the top table rather than her.

He claimed his siblings had been weaponised against him and sent to “attack” him via social media. And in a shocking comment, he revealed: “My mum hijacked my first dance with my wife, which had been planned weeks in advance to a romantic love song.

“In front of our 500 wedding guests, Marc Anthony called me to the stage, where in the schedule was planned to be my romantic dance with my wife but instead my mum was waiting to dance with me instead. She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone.”

He wrote: “I’ve never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life.” He added: “My wife and I do not want a life shaped by image, press, or manipulation. All we want peace, privacy and happiness for us and our future family.”
