A lorry fire has blocked a busy motorway overnight with plumes of smoke filling the sky.
A spokesperson for National Highways said: “The M25 has been blocked both ways between J27 (Epping) and J26 (WalthamAbbey) due to a lorry fire. Updates to follow.”
Traffic cameras show the scale of the fire, with big plumes of smoke visible and queuing traffic behind the vehicle which is ablaze.

Another picture shows the lorry fully ablaze on the M25, as traffic remains blocked as a result of the incident.
Fire crews are at the scene and working to extinguish the fire.

There are no delays on approach, according to National Highways.
