Katie Price’s ‘mercy dash’ to Dubai after it emerged her husband Lee Andrews was in jail might not have been all it seemed, it’s been claimed. The star, 48, has been accused of flying over to the UAE and enjoying days at beach clubs.
She’s even said to have taken a videographer on the trip to document it and the footage might make it on to her new documentary Katie Price: Nothing To Hide, which airs on Sky later this summer.
It’s thought that the mum-of-five came home without fourth husband Lee after she refused to pay his £140,000 bail – and is now planning her next move.

The Mail’s Katie Hind claimed it feels like Katie is “directing a movie of herself” saying: “So she said he was kidnapped, he wasn’t. He was always in prison.”
She added: “In order to get him [Lee] out of prison it was going to cost £140,000. Katie, quite rightly, refused to pay that. So off she came back home on her business class flight without Lee, but with a lot of money in her pocket and a really nice suntan.”
The Mirror has reached out to Katie for comment on this story. Katie previously insisted the Lee drama wasn’t a stunt to garner media attention. She said: “This is real, this is real life; this is my life. It has been a tough few weeks, don’t get me wrong. But I’ve still stayed strong through it all, and I have a smile on my face.”
Lee has since been released from prison and has spoken to his wife. He was even seen on FaceTime and looked very healthy and happy following his stint in the notorious Al Awir jail in Dubai.

But while he might have been smiling, Katie has warned him there could be trouble ahead. She said after their reunion: “I’m excited – but trust me, I have questions.”
Self-professed millionaire Lee had been locked up in Dubai’s notorious prison after initially going missing. Katie said she feared he’d been kidnapped when she couldn’t contact him last month.
