A heated confrontation on Four in a Bed resulted in one contestant becoming visibly angry at the table.
Tempers flared during Payment Day in a repeat episode which broadcast on Saturday, June 13.
Following mutual low sleep scores, father-daughter pair Shane and Emily pressed co-owners Patricia and Liam for explanations.
Shane and Emily had been guests at Patricia and Liam’s boutique establishment in Leicestershire, but Emily was far from satisfied with the noise levels she experienced during the night.
She had awarded a poor rating of two for the sleep score question, alleging there had been a row directly outside her window “for two and a half hours”, and that the “constant” noise of the cars kept her awake throughout the evening, reports Leicestershire Live.
“I think it could have been a little bit higher than a two,” Liam defended.

Emily hit back: “I just didn’t feel nice and safe in the room.”
Speaking to the camera, Liam added: “The score they gave, a two, I think it was extremely harsh, they’ve been extremely picky.”
As a result, Liam and Patricia’s Harboro Hotel in Melton Mowbray received a £25 underpayment, with Emily claiming that was still “quite generous”.
After another pair of B&B owners attempted to defend the Harboro Hotel, claiming they couldn’t hear any noise from their room next door, Shane hit out, implying that a drink before bed had helped them sleep well.
Emily also claimed to have video evidence of the noise, as Shane said: “When you go to the hotel, you want a good night’s sleep and a clean room. End of.”

Emily then told the camera: “I actually wish I didn’t pay at all. Two hours sleep, that’s the most important thing of the stay, so for me, I do regret it.”
Things took a worse turn around the Payment Day table, when Patricia and Liam seemed to get their own back while reviewing Emily and Shane’s stay.
They said cleanliness was an issue and that they “slept horrendously”, with Emily claiming it was a “revenge” move.
Talking about Liam’s allegation of there being hairs in the bed, Shane slammed: “I find that very hard to believe.”
“Well we certainly didn’t plant the hairs on the bed,” Liam hit back.

Shane also said he “totally disagreed” with Liam’s claim there was dust covering the walls, fuming: “I don’t take that at all.”
“I’ve never had any complaints in this room, we had an A-list American celebrity in there two or three weeks ago, he’s rebooked, he’s actually asked for this room again,” Shane claimed.
Patricia was left questioning: “So is an A-lister celebrity more important than a general customer?” before adding to the camera: “I think we hurt his ego a bit.”
Shane also fumed over Liam and Patricia delivering a sleep score of two.
“It was horrible, the pillows weren’t comfortable,” Liam explained, saying the room was too hot but he didn’t want to hear noise from an open window.

“I think we know where we are with this one, this is tit for tat,” Shane slammed.
He insisted it couldn’t be the truth, before saying: “Shame we’re not in a court room and we had a jury to judge you.”
He added to Liam and Patricia: “You’re entitled to say what you say but I don’t accept anything you say.”
Opening the payment envelope, Shane and Emily were disgusted to discover Liam and Patricia had underpaid them by £45 for the stay in their Hampshire hotel.
“Throughout the room we found issues,” Liam tried to explain, before Shane hit out: “What you’ve said to us, to me is an absolute joke.”

As Liam said they “agreed to disagree”, Shane spat at the table, with Patricia calling out: “There is no need for that!”
As a result of both underpayments, neither team won that series of Four in a Bed, with Suffolk hotel owners Louis and Michael taking home the victory.

“We’ve worked really hard and we’re really over the moon,” the pair commented.
Liam and Patricia also shared: “We came second, we’re very pleased with that, they deserve it. They worked really hard and they’ve got a beautiful place.”
