Two charged with murder over death of 12-year-old boy in Essex

A 12-year-old boy, Bobby Bloomfield, died after being hit by a vehicle in Pilgrims Hatch, Brentwood, on Sunday.
William Lunnon, 43, and a 15-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, have both been charged with murder in connection with Bobby’s death.
Both individuals have been remanded in custody and are due to appear before a magistrates’ court.
Four additional people – two men aged 65 and 54, and two women aged 65 and 45 – have been arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice.
Bobby’s family released a statement expressing their profound grief, and Essex Police continue to appeal for information to assist their ongoing investigation.
