France captain, Kylian Mbappe, has picked who will score more goals at the 2026 FIFA World Cup between Argentina captain Lionel Messi and Portugal skipper Cristiano Ronaldo.

The 2026 World Cup is starting on Thursday and will be co-hosted by the USA, Mexico and Canada.

Speaking during an interaction with football creator Finn Agostinelli (@fiagoball), Mbappe was asked to choose players who would score more goals at this year’s World Cup.

The Real Madrid forward chose Spain’s Lamine Yamal to score more goals ahead of the likes of Florian Wirtz, Memphis Depay, Mohamed Salah and Erling Haaland.

However, Mbappe then backed his Real Madrid teammate Vinicius to score more than Yamal and England captain Harry Kane.

But when it came down to the last three players, Mbappe picked Lionel Messi to score more than Vinicius and then Cristiano Ronaldo over the Argentina forward.

Finally, the former Paris Saint-Germain forward then picked himself to score more goals than Ronaldo.
