Frappe fans have shared their delight after spotting two new chocolate-inspired flavours on B&M shelves – and shoppers are already planning trips to their local store.
The budget retailer has expanded its drinks range with new Snickers Frappe and Mars Frappe beverages, and the discovery has gone down a treat with sweet-toothed shoppers. These new arrivals were highlighted by the Facebook account @newsfoodsuk where excited fans quickly rushed to share their thoughts. One user said: “The Snickers is lush.” Another added: “Hope this is real, may have to go get the Snickers.”
A third commented: “Mmm, Mars Bar one sounds good.” While another simply wrote: “The Mars one sounds nice.”
Frappes are particularly popular during the warmer months and made using a combination of coffee, ice, milk, sugar and water.
However, there are plenty of variations depending on where you are in the world.
According to Nescafé: “A Frappé is traditionally made with coffee, but it doesn’t have to be. Some are made with tea, juice and even hot chocolate.
“A Frappé is one of those drinks that what you get really depends on where you are in the world.”
The brand explains that Greek frappes are typically made using instant coffee, sugar, water and milk, while other countries have put their own spin on the drink, including versions featuring soda, ice cream and whipped cream.
The latest additions aren’t the only unusual products causing a stir at B&M recently.
Nowadays the retailer has become known for stocking quirky food and drink finds, with one shopper recently spotting a range of Seabrook crisps-inspired mayonnaise.
Sharing her verdict online, she said: “I can also confirm the mayos that I got are incredible!! They taste just like the crisps!”
The flavoured mayonnaise range is currently priced at £2, making it a relatively cheap purchase for curious shoppers looking to try something different.
Meanwhile, biscuit lovers have also been excited by the arrival of Biscoff Espresso spread, which has been spotted in stores for just £1.
In the caption, the same account explained: “Brand new Espresso Biscoff biscuits! Wow, the coffee taste really does come through! Absolutely perfect amount of coffee flavour, goes so well with the Biscoff Biscuit! These are now available at @bm_stores.”
