Love Island fans have been left worried for one ‘missing’ Islander.
The ITV2 show has returned to our screens for a new series, with the Islanders already being dealt a number of twists and recouplings. Tonight, the female Islanders were left in the villa to watch the boys crack on with two new bombshells on screen.
Now, fans have been left concerned after one Islander failed to appear for most of the episode. Another Islander, George, has just departed due to personal reasons.

“Poor Sam. Send someone in for him #LoveIsland,” one fan wrote, as a second added: “these girls aren’t interested in sam at all send someone in for this poor man ASAP.” A third shared: “Omg I forgot about Sam #LoveIsland.”
A fourth penned: “i was starting to wonder if sam was even still in there. i want so much for one of the bombshells to be head over heels for him #LoveIsland,” as a fifth wrote: “Sorry but where’s Sam??? Has he gone too or #loveisland.”
Another Islander’s exit aired tonight – as George bid his farewell to the show due to a private matter.
Following his exit, he posted in a statement: “Family comes first, always. Leaving the @loveisland Villa was a decision made in order to be with my family. Out of respect for them, I’d prefer not to go into any further detail. Thank you to everyone who has reached out with kind messages and support! It genuinely means a lot.”

Tonight, the show played out his exit, with Lorenzo announcing the news. He told them: “George has left the Villa for private reasons and won’t be coming back.” Robyn then added: “Aww, George, we love you!”
When alone with the cameras, Robyn later admitted: “I can’t believe it, I actually can’t believe it. He was the only person I was actually kind of interested in,” as they all bid farewell to George.
Sam previously opened up about his hearing loss and how he has wore hearing aids for years.

“I’ve worn them [his hearing aids] since I was four years old. So they are really a big part of who I am… I would say that it’s helped me with my confidence,” he explained.
“Going through school, obviously, you get people that will always say things. I always say that if I was to get them at this age, then I would feel very self-conscious about them. I probably wouldn’t want to wear them.”
