Wimbledon is just around the corner as SW19 gears up for the most prestigious Grand Slam on the tennis calendar. Fans will be hoping this year’s edition can match the sheer drama of 2025’s gripping final on Centre Court, where Jannik Sinner fought back from a set down against Carlos Alcaraz to claim the trophy for the very first time.

However, the build-up to this year’s tournament has been rocked by the recent news that Alcaraz has been forced to withdraw. The two-time champion, 23, has still not recovered from a wrist injury that ruled him out of the French Open.

Despite such a major blow, the action still promises to be enthralling, with Iga Swiatek also looking to defend her women’s singles title after demolishing Amanda Anisimova 6-0 6-0 last year. Aryna Sabalenka, Elena Rybakina, Coco Gauff and Jessica Pegula are among those hoping to get their hands on the trophy this time round.

Although the main public ballot closed months ago, fans still have a number of options to get their hands on a seat at the All England Club. The most well-known method remains the iconic Wimbledon Queue. A limited allocation of tickets for Centre Court, No. 1 Court, and No. 2 Court are set aside each morning for those willing to queue at the grounds, alongside thousands of daily Ground Passes.

Alternatively, last-minute tickets can occasionally be secured online directly via the official Wimbledon website, provided you were unsuccessful in the ballot and placed on the official waiting list. Fans can also secure guaranteed luxury seats by purchasing Debenture tickets online, or booking hospitality packages through Keith Prowse, the tournament’s exclusive Official Hospitality Partner-though these premium options command a significantly higher fee
