Lisa Hogan said she was “really impressed” while interacting with Countryfile’s Adam Henson, before taking a cheeky swipe at her other half, Jeremy Clarkson. She made these remarks last month at FarmFest 2026, a new festival “celebrating the livelihoods, skills and produce of Britain’s farmers”, held at NAEC Stoneleigh in Warwickshire.

Lisa appeared alongside stars including Alex James, Chris Moyles and Charlie Ireland. The event ran from May 22 to 24 and, given Adam’s status as one of the nation’s most recognisable farmers, his presence was a natural fit.

During one segment, Adam introduced viewers to his affectionate sheepdog, Gwen, who was seen enthusiastically leaping up towards him. Adam revealed that Gwen would be taking part in the main arena alongside Lisa.

The following scenes showed Adam coaching Lisa as she worked with Gwen to herd a small flock of sheep. Afterwards, he praised her efforts, saying it had gone “really well”, before asking how she thought it went.

Lisa responded in the video: “I’m really impressed with your dog. It listens to me more than a lot of people on the farm – whose name begins with J- and ends in -eremy Clarkson.”

At this point, the footage cut to her partner Jeremy Clarkson and his Clarkson’s Farm co-star Kaleb Cooper entering the field. Shortly afterwards, spectators watched them take a Ford Ranger for a drive across the grass.

This follows the announcement that Lisa has been chosen to front a new farming dating programme titled Farming For Love, inspired by Farmer Wants a Wife. The seven-part series will follow single farmers on their search for love.

Lisa commented: “Farming is a way of life that requires resilience, patience, a lot of humour, and the same can be said for relationships.

“What I love about Farming for Love is how real it is – there is no hiding or skiving on a farm and that is what makes it such an honest way for people to get to know each other that has had success around the world.

Meanwhile, Adam recently confessed to “probably breaking one of the rules” while working with his horses. In a video posted on the Cotswold Farm Park YouTube channel, Adam checked in on the Exmoor foals following a horse whispering session.

He acknowledged that he may have broken one of the rules by offering one of the young horses an apple. Adam said: “There we go, have a bit of apple. That’s a good girl. It’s all about patience. You’re very beautiful, aren’t you? Aren’t you? Yes.

“Ian did say to me they don’t really need treats. So, I’m probably breaking one of the rules by giving her some apples. As you can see, there’s still quite a lot more work to be done, but we’ll keep working with them.”
