Police and emergency services rushed to the Old West End Festival in Toledo, Ohio, on Saturday afternoon, following a shooting.
Upon arrival, officers discovered multiple shooting victims. Many victims have been transported to nearby medical facilities for treatment. The Toledo Police Department is actively searching for the suspect or suspects involved.
Officers were deployed throughout the Old West End neighbourhood to secure the area and provide emergency medical support.
Eyewitnesses reported seeing a significant number of police vehicles, emergency medical units, and a heightened law enforcement presence, as organisers worked to ensure the safety of festival-goers. Reports of gunshots were also heard by those in attendance.

They added: “The investigation currently includes scenes in the area of Delaware Avenue and Robinwood Avenue. Residents and visitors are asked to avoid the area and expect a significant police presence as officers continue their search and investigators work to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.”
