For Ashley Iaconetti, dramatic rose ceremonies are nothing compared to The Real Housewives of Rhode Island’s reunion taping.
“It’s great TV, I’ll just tell you that. It’s gonna be great TV,” Ashley, 38, exclusively teased to Us Weekly on Friday, June 5. “There was some really crazy things exchanged.”
Before Andy Cohen reunited the cast, which also includes Alicia Carmody, Rosie DiMare, Liz McGraw, Rulla Nehme Pontarelli, Kelsey Swanson and Jo-Ellen Tiberi, Ashley said the majority of the ladies were anxious to experience their very first reunion.
“The days leading up and the day of it was, like, I hadn’t been that nervous in a very long time,” Ashley said. “I could just feel my throat was so tight. My mouth was so dry, just this tension in the air, but almost like we were united in nerves. We’re all just so nervous.”
Once cameras started rolling, though, the charismatic group of women tackled the biggest story lines of the season with ease.
“I mean, once we got warmed up, it was a different story,” Ashley teased. “I was way more comfortable once we started rolling with it.”
While The Real Housewives of Rhode Island’s first season isn’t done airing just yet, some viewers may not be surprised to hear which cast members found themselves squabbling during the reunion taping.
“The hottest it got, I want to say, is between Jo-Ellen and Rulla,” Ashley teased. “There’s another pairing that is definitely in contention, but I’ll just leave it at that.”
Earlier this season, Jo-Ellen, 38, received evidence alleging that Rulla’s husband, Brian Pontarelli, was being unfaithful.
During the April 26 episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, Brian said he hated seeing the “past come back” because “that was a while ago.”
“I was a different person then,” he explained. “I realized what an amazing woman my wife is and the only thing that matters to me now is my wife and children.”
While viewers will have to watch what happens to see what unfolds within the cast, Ashley fears a few relationships in the bunch have “irreconcilable differences.”

If anyone can help the situation, Ashley said, it may be the reunion host.
“Andy was the best. I loved having a mediated moment,” she explained. “That was nice to have somebody in the center saying, ‘You would like to talk to them? Would you like to?’ Like, it was just very nice. I like the formality of it, and he handled it so well.”
The Real Housewives of Rhode Island airs on Bravo Sundays at 9 p.m. Stream new episodes the next day on Peacock.
