Idris Bolarinwa has resigned as head coach of Nigeria National League, NNL, side Ekiti United, DAILY POST reports.

The club confirmed the resignation on Wednesday.

The club management said that the young tactician disengagement takes immediate effect.

The Ekiti-based club said a new technical crew will be assembled ahead of the 2026-27 season.

Bolarinwa led Ekiti United to a third place finish in the Conference B of the just concluded NNL season.

Ekiti United narrowly missed out on promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL.
