The CosmoGrill Outdoor Portable BBQ Grill has been rated highly on Amazon, however. One person said: “Right, let me first start by saying this is a genuine review of this BBQ. My son (14) set this up and it was dead straightforward to do it, the build quality on it is excellent! I love that they have added a little note with the manual saying to contact them with any issues you have setting it up. I had eight friends over a few days ago when the weather was warm and used the Cosmo for the first time, and it was an absolute champion and handled all the food we threw at it.
“All in all, it’s a great BBQ and would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants something that looks decent and does a great job. Five stars from me all day long.”

A second wrote: “Really great BBQ for the money. Easy to build. I did it myself after a few beers, and it took maybe 30/40 minutes. Used as a BBQ day one, and the adjustable coal tray is super handy. Then, on day two, I tried out smoking, and it performed much better than expected, managed to hold temperature really well and gave a great smoke ring on the ribs. I would 100% recommend it for someone wanting to get into BBQing on a budget.”
A third wrote: “An impressive piece of kit that was relatively easy to assemble, helped by clear and concise instructions. I would definitely recommend this grill.”

Some people removed a star and said: “Great value for money, I found it a little tricky to put together.” Another said: “Good enough on value for money – slightly in the hinterland between better quality and budget stuff, but was just right for me. It’s not the best quality metal, but the price reflects that. Instructions were not quite perfect, but easy enough to follow if you have some common sense along the way – took just over an hour to assemble.”
