Trump eviscerates four Republicans who voted against his Iran war in early-morning rant
US House votes to limit Trump’s war powers
Donald Trump criticized “grandstanding” Republicans after the House of Representatives voted to limit his war powers concerning Iran.
In a Truth Social post, Trump stated that “4 bad Republicans and all of the Dumocrats” voted to restrict his ability to strike Iran, calling their actions “unpatriotic” amidst ongoing negotiations.
The resolution, which passed 215-208, saw Republicans join Democrats in approving the measure.
Trump accused Democrats of being driven by “Trump Derangement Syndrome” and suggested the four Republicans were “GRANDSTANDERS” who should be ashamed.
Despite passing the House, the resolution still requires approval from the Republican-controlled Senate and is largely considered symbolic, with the White House expected to disregard it.
