Anthony Joshua is scheduled to fight Kristian Prenga on 25 July in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, as a warm-up before his highly anticipated bouts with Tyson Fury.
Joshua and Fury are contracted for two heavyweight fights, with the first expected later this year, potentially in October or November at London’s Wembley Stadium, followed by a rematch in 2027.
Despite speculation, Joshua told The Ring that his fights with Fury will not mark the end of his boxing career, indicating a desire to continue competing afterwards.
Joshua expressed openness to fighting rising star Moses Itauma and listed several other potential future opponents, including Daniel Dubois, Fabio Wardley, Agit Kabayel, and Deontay Wilder.
The long-awaited Joshua vs Fury fights were previously delayed in 2021 due to legal action from Deontay Wilder, but are now close to materialising.
