Zelensky warns Russian forces could again launch a massive attack on Ukraine
Ukraine launched a significant attack on a St Petersburg oil port, just before a major economic forum hosted by Vladimir Putin.
The St Petersburg International Economic Forum, running from 3 to 6 June, is themed around economic growth and aims to boost Russia’s economy.
Discussions at the forum are expected to cover strategies such as labour redistribution and the promotion of AI-powered digital platforms.
Vladimir Putin is scheduled to deliver his keynote speech on Friday, with presidents from Uzbekistan and Tanzania, China’s vice president, and Saudi Arabia’s energy minister also attending.
Notable attendees include a prominent right-wing US influencer, a serving US official, and a German retail billionaire.
