Incoming Real Madrid manager, Jose Mourinho, has given the green light for the club to sign two players.
The LaLiga giants have now agreed to sign Ibrahima Konate, who left Liverpool as a free agent.
Madrid will also activate Denzel Dumfries €20million release clause at Inter Milan.
But it is understood that Mourinho is eyeing another defensive player, as he prepares to take over the team this summer.
Football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, wrote on X: “José Mourinho has approved both Konaté and Dumfries deals for Real Madrid.
“The Special One appreciates both and Real Madrid could try one more defensive signing if the right opportunity appears on the market.”
Madrid need reinforcements in defence following the departures of David Alaba and captain Dani Carvajal.
