Manchester United’s 13 representatives for the 2026 FIFA World Cup tournament have been allocated their shirt numbers.
The squad lists have been formally submitted before the competition gets underway on Thursday, 11 June.
Players can still be changed due to serious injury or illness, up to 24 hours before a team’s opening match.
However, three Man United players will be wearing no.5 in North America – Casemiro (Brazil), Diogo Dalot (Portugal) and Manuel Ugarte (Uruguay).
Matheus Cunha will be wearing the no.9 for Brazil, as he hopes to feature extensively for the Selecao.
Bruno Fernandes has the no.8 for Portugal, and the same slot has been afforded to Scotland’s Tyler Fletcher, as he replaces Billy Gilmour in Steve Clarke’s squad.
Goalkeepers Altay Bayindir and Senne Lammens will both wear no.12 for Turkey and Belgium, respectively.
Amad Diallo gets no.15 with the Ivory Coast, and Noussair Mazraoui takes on no.3 with Morocco.
Kobbie Mainoo and Marcus Rashford will wear number 16 and 11 shirts, respectively, for England.
