President Bola Tinubu on Monday received his Benin Republic counterpart, Romuald Wadagni, in his Lagos residence.
In a post on his official X handle, Tinubu’s media, Bayo Onanuga
said the Benin Republic President “came on a private visit.”
In a video clip shared by Onanuga, Romuald Wadagni could be seen being escorted to Tinubu by the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
The visit is coming a few weeks after Romuald Wadagni was officially sworn in as president of Benin.
The former Beninese finance minister, succeeded his predecessor and former boss, Patrice Talon.
