Shirts with the name of Arsenal defender Gabriel have seen sales increase by 350 per cent, according to The Athletic.

This comes despite Gabriel missing the crucial penalty for the Gunners in their Champions League final defeat on Saturday.

The 28-year-old centre-back stepped up to take the fifth kick during the shootout.

But he blazed his effort over the bar, and Paris Saint-Germain retained the trophy they won last year.

However, Arsenal fans have responded by buying Gabriel’s shirt massively.

The Brazil international has become the top-selling name since the weekend.

At one point, sales of the Brazil international’s shirt doubled those of any other shirt being sold.
