Former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, Babachir Lawal, has likened former Vice President Atiku Abubakar to bandit kingpin ‘Kachalla’.
Lawal made the comparison in a post on his Facebook page after announcing his resignation from the African Democratic Congress, ADC.
The former SGF had announced his resignation from the ADC, alleging that the party’s recently concluded primaries were manipulated in favour of Abubakar.
“Concluded primaries were at all levels massively rigged in favour of Kachalla Abubakar Atiku
“I do not intend to be part of Kachalla Atiku’s rigging machine in the 2027 general elections.
“For me, working for Kachalla Atiku means giving Tinubu an automatic ticket to a second term, which gives me nightmares.”
The former SGF also said he would return to his village to focus on farming while consulting with political associates on ways to prevent Atiku from winning the presidency in 2027.
