Arsenal stars could not hold back the tears after they were beaten by Paris Saint-Germain on penalties in the Champions League final in Budapest. Eberechi Eze and Gabriel Magalhaes both missed their spot kicks as the Ligue 1 champions ran out 4-3 winners on penalties.
The two Gunners’ stars were visibly upset after their costly misses saw PSG crowned back-to-back Champions League winners. Gabriel missed the decisive penalty, blazing an effort over the bar, while Eze dragged his shot wide of the post.
PSG stars raced onto the pitch to celebrate, but Brazilian defender Marquinhos rushed over to his international teammate to console Gabriel. His fellow Arsenal teammates also rushed over to protect the 28-year-old, while others consoled Eze.
