When summer rolls around, many people struggle with hot, sleepless nights. Thankfully, Aldi could be selling a £3.99 solution to make the warm nights a little more bearable.
The supermarket is selling bedding that’s specifically designed for summer nights. For customers who enjoy sleeping on a cool pillow, the retailer is stocking cooling pillowcases. Priced at £3.99, the set includes two pillowcases. With multiple colours available, customers can match their bedding by choosing a white, green, or light grey pack.
Showcasing the Cooling Pillowcases on its website, Aldi says: “Be sure to always have the cool side of the pillow during those warm summer nights.” They are made from 70% cotton and 30% lyocell. The pillowcases are part of Aldi’s Kirkton House range, which also includes bed sheets, throws, and duvet covers.
Aldi says the £7.99 Double Fitted/Flat Sheet has ‘cooling technology’. The description explains: “Protect your sheets whilst keeping cool whilst you sleep.” However, the £24.99 Muslin Double/King Duvet Cover could be better suited to shoppers who prefer sleeping with a duvet.
The description says: “Keep your mattress fresh and clean whilst providing a healthier sleeping environment.” The duvet cover is 100% cotton, available in double or king sizes.
