Atletico Madrid has initiated a series of social media attacks ridiculing Barcelona as they are displeased with the recent speculation regarding Julian Alvarez.
They mocked the Catalan side and shared fictitious transfer proposals for Lamine Yamal, Pedri, and Raphinha.
Atletico Madrid took to social media to announce that they had sent a fax to the Catalan club with an offer for Yamal. They humorously claimed that the bid consisted of four tickets to the upcoming Bad Bunny concert, a subscription to ABC, and a bag of sunflower seeds.
“HERE WE GO! We have sent a fax to @FCBarcelona_es with our transfer offer: 4 tickets for tomorrow’s Bad Bunny concert, an annual subscription to ABC, and a bag of sunflower seeds. We eagerly await the response to prepare the ‘announce’.”
They followed up with another post regarding their offer for Pedri, stating that they had run out of tickets for the concert on Saturday, thus proposing six tickets for the Sunday show instead.
“HERE WE GO! For this second offer we’ve encountered a problem, we’ve run out of tickets for tomorrow’s concert, so we enhance the previous proposal with 6 for the one on Sunday.”
Raphinha was the focus of Atletico Madrid’s third bid, which involved a loan for the season. They humorously suggested that the offer included Tom Ford and Smith in exchange, stating:
“HERE WE GO! And to complete the 3×1, we’ve gotten all carried away and we’re going to throw the little house out the window: the player arrives on loan for a season and in exchange we loan out Tom Ford and Smith with no option to buy. An offer impossible to refuse.”
The Spanish club is outraged following reports linking Julian Alvarez with a transfer to Camp Nou this week. Fabrizio Romano was also a target of their mockery, as all posts began with his signature ‘Here We Go’.
