Rapper M.I.A. has been removed from Kid Cudi‘s Rebel Ragers Tour following controversial remarks made on stage.
During a performance in Dallas, M.I.A. expressed support for Donald Trump and suggested some audience members could be illegal immigrants, leading to boos from the crowd.
She claimed she was being ‘cancelled for being a brown Republican voter’ during her set.
Kid Cudi announced her removal via Instagram Stories, citing fan complaints about her ‘offensive remarks’ and stating he had previously warned her team about such comments.
M.I.A., a British citizen, has a history of anti-establishment views and has recently aligned with right-wing talking points, including endorsing Donald Trump and criticising vaccines.
