Euphoria season 3 trailer teases return of core cast
Jacob Elordi‘s controversial character, Nate Jacobs, met a gruesome end in the latest episode of the HBO series Euphoria.
Nate was buried alive in a coffin by a gangster he owed a substantial sum, with his wife Cassie, played by Sydney Sweeney, given 72 hours to secure the money.
He was fatally bitten by a venomous rattlesnake that slithered down a breathing pipe into his coffin.
Elordi described his character’s demise as a ‘cool way to go’ but admitted it was ‘bittersweet’ to depart the show, which has been a significant part of his life and career.
The third series of Euphoria returned after a four-year hiatus, but early critical reviews have largely been negative, with many claiming the show has lost its ‘edge’ and descended into ‘torture porn’.
