Shocking new footage shows the moment a plane burst into flames in a deadly crash that killed 15 people.
The video has emerged as The National Transportation Safety Board are investigating the cause of the deadly crash that occurred on November 4, 2025 in Kentucky.
The UPS jet’s engine and pylon became detached from the aircraft’s wing during takeoff at Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport, killing three crew members and 12 people on the ground.

The jet, a McDonnell Douglas MD-11F, was 34 years old at the time of the incident and heading to Hawaii.
The footage captures the moment a ball of flames engulfs the vehicle leaving a massive debris field.
All MD-11s were grounded by the FAA for months as a result of the crash.
The NTSB is holding a hearing this week in Washington to investigate the cause of the collision.
The victims on the ground were identified as Angela Anderson, 45, Carlos Fernandez, 52, Trinadette “Trina” Chavez, 37, Tony Crain, 65, John Loucks, 52, John Spray, 45, Matthew Sweets, 37, Ella Petty Whorton, 31, Megan Washburn, 35, Louisnes Fedon, 47, and his 3-year-old granddaughter Kimberly Asa.

The National Transportation Safety Board, which released the shocking footage Tuesday, is convening a hearing this week in Washington, DC, to investigate the cause of the deadly Nov. 4, 2025, crash, which killed three crew members on UPS Flight 2976 and 12 people on the ground in the industrial area outside Louisville’s airport.
The Hawaii-bound jet crashed at Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport just after takeoff, leaving a massive debris field and flames over a half-mile radius.

Alain Rodriguez Colina, who was severely injured in the crash, succumbed to his injuries on Christmas Day.
UPS identified its employees Capt. Richard Wartenberg, 57, First Officer Lee Truitt, 45, and International Relief Officer Capt. Dana Diamond, 62, as the three crew members aboard the deadly flight.
At the time of the incident it was said that the plane was carrying 38,000 gallons (144,000 litres) of fuel when it crashed.
Pablo Rojas, the aviation attorney, said: “Really the plane itself is almost acting like a bomb because of the amount of fuel.”
The inferno consumed the enormous aircraft and spread to nearby businesses.

Hundreds of firefighters spent the night battling the fire over “a massive area” and searched for potential victims.
